AGREEMENT

The agreement process is essential for establishing a clear understanding between us before starting your custom art project. It helps ensure that both parties are aligned on expectations, protects your interests, and facilitates a smooth creative journey.

Shipping

  • Domestic shipping is free. For international shipping, the Artist will cover 50% of the shipping cost.

  • The Artist does not cover insurance costs for lost paintings. It is the Client's responsibility to decide if insurance is desired. Insurance costs range from $150 to $500, depending on the size, weight, and value of the painting.

Timeline

  • The estimated duration to complete the artwork is 4 weeks from the date of the signed agreement and receipt of the first installment. If payment is late, the due date for the painting will be adjusted accordingly.

Artist Responsibilities

  • The Artist agrees to create the artwork to the best of their ability and in a style consistent with previous works.

  • The Artist will provide updates on progress and accommodate reasonable requests for adjustments during the creation process.

Client Responsibilities

  • The Client agrees to provide all necessary information, references, and feedback in a timely manner to facilitate the artwork's creation.

  • The Client will keep communication open and respond to inquiries from the Artist promptly.

  • If the Client requests changes after the first sketch, an additional fee of $500 will be applied.

  • For portrait commissions, if the Client wants an additional face included, there will be a fee of $300. The Client must upload a clear picture for portraits.

Payment Terms

Security Deposit
$

A deposit of $100 is required to initiate the project. You may submit more or all of the security deposit to begin the project. The remaining balance will be due upon completion, prior to delivery.


No Refund will be issued after any deposit is paid, as the artist will begin work immediately following the receipt of any deposit.

Option 3: Three Installments ( 9 Weeks

Based on the payment plans you choose an invoice will be sent periodically.

Final Review

  • The client will have the opportunity to review the completed artwork before the final payment is made. Minor changes will only be made on the first review and NOT the second or the final review. But major alterations will require additional fees.

Ownership and Copyright

  • Upon full payment, the Client will own the physical artwork. The Artist retains the copyright and the right to use images of the artwork for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising from this Agreement will be resolved through mediation before pursuing legal action.
