MY ARTISTIC JOURNEY
“My practice as a visual artist is fundamentally a dialogue with the enduring strength and quiet grace of the female lineage that shaped my existence. My signature is a visual apotheosis—a celebration and elevation in giving women their flowers and of the women whose collective mentorship formed the very bedrock of my life.”

EXHIBTIONS 2025
Raised from infancy by my grandmother in between Haiti and Brooklyn, NY, I was nurtured within a powerful matrix of female support extending from my immediate community, church mentors, and educators. This formidable foundation was my universe. My grandmother, the first to recognize my intrinsic connection to painting, became the silent architect of my artistic destiny.
The transition to a formal academic path (law school in Florida) was irrevocably altered by her passing. In the immediate aftermath, painting evolved from a nascent passion into a vital coping mechanism, a necessary sanctuary to navigate profound loss. It was then that the purpose of my art crystallized: to give my grandmother, and by extension, all the pivotal women in my life, their "flowers"—a tribute to their invaluable contributions.
Through the intricate layers and vibrant palette of "La Couronne des Fleures", I endeavor to capture the essence of universal womanhood. My work transcends personal biography, serving as an advocacy piece that uses societal issues as a canvas to honor women globally. Each composition is an assertion of their resilience, a painted garland honoring their indelible mark on the universe. The collection is my permanent testament to their legacy.
As I continue to evolve as an artist, I remain committed to pushing the boundaries of my creative process, experimenting with new materials and techniques. My exploration extends deeply into the realm of the abstract. This current portfolio serves as a visual chronicle of my evolution, showcasing the diverse textural and chromatic lexicons I have refined through years of dedicated experimentation.
I look forward to the possibility of contributing to the contemporary art scene through meaningful partnerships, using my art as a vehicle for women, empowerment and social change. Through "La Couronne Des Fleures," I aim to intrigue and captivate audiences, inviting them to connect with the relevance of my work and inspiring others to explore their own creative potential.
